iPad 2 and the still unsolved backlight bleeding problem

A few months ago we told you that the iPad 2 tablets produced by Apple have a the very big problem with backlight bleedingl means the escape of light from the edges of the screen. Some say that this problem is perfectly normal, but if it manifests itself as in the image above, then we are talking about a reason for replacing the product, something that Apple does anyway. In recent weeks, there have been rumors indicating that Apple would have changed some touch panel manufacturers precisely to get rid of the backlight bleeding problem, and recently manufactured tablets should be delivered without such problems.

Some of you know that in April I purchased an iPad 2 tablet whose screen and problems with light leaks are shown in the image above. Yesterday I purchased another iPad 2 tablet from eMag for an acquaintance and unfortunately I noticed that the backlight bleeding is still present. It is not as intense as in the image above, but on a black background, the escape of light on the edges of the screen can be observed as well as possible. We are in July, 4 months away from the launch of the iPad 2 and I would have expected Apple to solve the problem of light leaks, but things are not like that at all. I want to mention that the tablet came with iOS 4.3.3 installed, so it was produced in the last month.

I don't know what policy eMag has regarding the backlight bleeding problem, but Apple changes tablets like this without any hesitation.
