ASTROCLIP is a new accessory for iPhone 4 that is part of a project waiting to be funded on the kickstarter.com website. ASTROCLIP is a simple accessory in which the iPhone 4 terminal is mounted and which allows our terminal to be attached to a normal telescope. Attaching the iPhone to the telescope using ASTROCLIP positions the camera exactly in the lens of the telescope allowing us to photograph the moon exactly as it is seen through the lens of that telescope.
The AstroClip is designed to work very easily. All you need to take great astrophotography pictures is your iPhone 4, the AstroClip and a telescope. It's as easy as that. I designed the AstroClip to fit any telescope with a 1.25″ eyepiece. This means it will work with all popular telescopes. All you have to do is tighten the AstroClip to your telescope, pop in your iPhone 4 and your ready to go. The AstroClip is designed to be very minimal, while still being fully functional. The clip is very simple and rigid to hold your iPhone 4 steady and securely for the perfect shot. I also added the three adjustment screws that look like they're meant to be on a telescope. With the simplicity and functionality of the AstroClip you will be taking great photos of outer space in no time at all.
