Android OS has twice the market share of iOS

We all know that Apple's iOS is losing ground to Google's Android, and probably no one is surprised by the fact that Android OS has almost double the market share compared to iOS. The millennials they published recently a statistic on the market shares of mobile operating systems globally and Google's Android has a market share of no less than 54% compared to only 28% for iOS and 13% for RIM. Of course, we are talking exclusively about the smartphone market where Google has been king since last year and does not seem to be willing to give up its place.

Although the difference between the market shares of the 2 smartphones is large, Android OS lost 7% of the market share held in July, falling from 61% to 54%, a sign that things are not so good for manufacturers. The 7 percent lost by Android OS goes directly to iOS, which registered a substantial increase even though the new iPhone 5 has not yet been launched on the market by the Apple company. The information provided by Millenial is based on the loading of advertising banners of its own advertising network.

If iPhone 5 turns out to be the smartphone that tens of millions of users are waiting for, then the balance of market shares could change radically in the course of next year.
