Tomorrow Apple will release iOS 5, the newest version of the operating system dedicated to iDevices. Considering that we are talking about a very important event, I received a lot of emails asking me about the time when the new operating system will be available through iTunes. The answer is simple, after 20:00 Apple will release the new version of iOS 5. Why 20:00? Because until now all the new versions of the iOS operating system were released after that time, a good part of them being available even until 20:30.
Today we should have a new version of iTunes available on the Apple website and together with it we should also have Mac OS X Lion, both of which could be released in the same time frame mentioned previously. It is very unlikely that Apple will launch iOS 5 earlier than 20:00 p.m. considering that in Cupertino at that time it is only 10 in the morning and the company from Cupertino is not very used to launching new programs/operating systems earlier than that time .
