Steve Jobs is extremely loved in China and this is evidenced by the fact that 250.000 copies of his biography were sold on the day of its release in the Asian country. Looking at me videos from this article I would say that I am witnessing the launch of an Apple product and not a biography because the atmosphere is almost identical to the one we see during the launch of an iPad tablet or an iPhone terminal. The book costs around $20-25 in most stores around the world and so far in the US the book has sold at least as well and globally things don't seem to be different.
Probably the producers of the book did not expect such a success even though we are talking about the legendary CEO of the company from Cupertino. In Romania, the translated book should appear in March.
