iPad Mini or an Android clone?

In the image above we have two tablets which apparently runs the same version of the operating system. From the start you will notice that the tablet on the left has icons for Phone and Messages and the one on the right has only the Messages icon for the iMessage service. The icons of the tablets look identical from this distance and of course I'm talking only about the native ones of iOS. On the left, we don't have an iPad Mini tablet, but a clone of an Android tablet running Android 2.3.5, but a version that has been heavily modified to look exactly like Apple's iOS.

The Chinese have "borrowed" almost everything they could from iOS and implemented it in their tablet so that the device, although it does not look like an iPad tablet, could easily fool people who have never owned an iDevice. Such a device is available for purchase in China at prices starting at $223, but don't expect it to have at least half the performance of the iPad tablet.
