The MacBook Air generates 28% of Apple's laptop sales

The MacBook Air is one of the cheapest laptops produced by the Apple company and in recent months more and more consumers have turned to purchasing such a product since the sales increased to 28% compared to only 8% in June. 28% of the total laptops sold by Apple in October were MacBook Air models, the small laptop convincing consumers that it is worth buying. The new version of the MacBook Air launched in July generated a substantial increase in sales for Apple, but the MacBook Pro still remains the most purchased laptop, with a share of 72%.

Although MacBook Pros are more expensive, they attract more users probably due to the fact that they are more powerful and are available in 15/17 inch versions. If there had been a 15-inch MacBook Air, I would have bought one considering that the purchase price would have been lower than that of a MacBook Pro in the same category. Unfortunately, Apple still has to maintain a line of differentiation for its products and I think that a 15-inch MacBook Air will not be launched on the market too soon considering that there is already a 13-inch MacBook Air/Pro.
