Video: Does Android OS log everything that happens in the phone without the user knowing?

Android OS, one of the most used operating systems in the world has incorporated a small system that apparently logging in absolutely everything a user does with their own terminal. The system is called Carrier IQ, it is developed by a private company and aims to check the user experience with the purchased terminals. Carrier IQ is found in Android, Blackberry and Nokia terminals and manufacturers install it without problems in the operating systems of mobile terminals, although this system apparently logs everything that happens in the terminals.

In the video clip above we have a small demonstration of how Carrier IQ works and it seems that the system logs all phone calls, messages, web searches and emails sent by users, but worse, it also logs what is typed. Yes, any password, bank account, PIN and all kinds of confidential information are apparently logged by the terminals and apparent sent anonymously to the servers of the company developing Carrier IQ. The worst part? Users would not know that this is happening and have no way to stop the data logging system.

The good part for owners of Android terminals is that they can reinstall the operating system and get rid of Carrier IQ, but only if they install a normal version of Android OS. In April, Apple was put on the wall for logging users' locations, now I'm curious what will happen if it turns out that the Android OS logs EVERYTHING that happens in the terminals and sends all the data, including what the users type, to the servers a company.
