Microsoft could buy Nokia's mobile terminal division

This year the companies Microsoft and Nokia concluded a partnership that gives Finns the opportunity to implement the Windows Phone 7 operating system in their own smartphones. The current CEO of Nokia is a former manager of Microsoft, so the connection has a logical explanation, but there could be much more in the middle. Conformable a report published by a Danish bank, Microsoft and Nokia have been in negotiations for several months, which would result in the acquisition of Nokia's mobile division by Microsoft for 19 billion dollars.

To be honest, Microsoft would make a very good deal because it would have the opportunity to develop its own smartphones and would no longer depend on so many third-party manufacturers. Apple does a similar thing by designing its iDevices for its own hardware, but the assembly of the devices is done by other companies. Microsoft could offer truly competitive smartphones that could be designed to work almost perfectly with an operating system appreciated by the whole world. We will find out next year if the business between the two companies will end with a purchase.
