Those from Yamaha take advantage of the "artificial intelligence" behind the Siri assistant for the iPhone 4S and show us how the system can be used to play the piano. The Yamaha developers use their own piano and by converting a MIDI file into a format recognized by the iPhone 4S, they manage to convince the piano to play at the command of the Siri assistant. Of course, there is also an AirPort Express hidden in the middle and the Disklavier piano capable of recognizing MIDI files, and you can see the result of this combination in the video clip above.

SIRI plays a YAMAHA Disklavier WIRELESSLY via WIFI & Airplay, complete with moving keys in full expression and moving pedals. Presented by the inventor of SmartKEY for Disklavier, Craig Knudsen.

This functionality of Siri is very good for promoting a product and the people at Yamaha have understood this. It is interesting that in the clip the keyboard and the piano pedals move together with the melody, which proves how real everything is.
