Having more time available these days, I watched quite a lot of TV programs. Looking at various TV stations, I realized that they broadcast many, many advertisements for Android terminals and most of them are made by Vodafone. Last night I saw 5 Vodafone commercials in 10 minutes of the commercial break and out of those 5 2 were for Android terminals. Most of the terminals promoted in the ads were Samsungs, but the Galaxy Nexus is by far the most promoted by Vodafone.
I saw only one advertisement for the iPhone 4S, the one made by Cosmote, and a newspaper promotion that gives away an iPad 2 tablet for subscription but in partnership with Vodafone. I expected Android terminals to be heavily promoted in Romania because they are cheap and anyone can buy one, but I didn't expect the iPhone to be forgotten. I know that operators in Romania are not too happy with the agreements they have with Apple for the sale of the iPhone terminal, but does the device sell so well if it is not so intensively promoted?
