Do not install iOS 5.0.2/5.1!

We have available for two days Absinthe, the first program with which we can perform an untethered jailbreak on the iPhone 4S and the iPad 2 tablet. Absinthe is developed using the Corona exploit with which the jailbreak solution for old iDevices was also developed and unfortunately Apple blocked it in iOS 5.1 beta 3. Yes, this untethered jailbreak solution was released although the exploit used in it was already blocked by Apple in a new beta version of iOS. The problem is that Apple will very soon release iOS 5.0.2 or even iOS 5.1 and the Corona exploit will become useless for iPhone 4S and iPad 2 with iOS 5.1.

Old iDevices will still be able to be jailbroken using redsn0w, but the jailbreak will be tethered, but those with iPhone 4S and iPad 2 will not be able to jailbreak, and it is not known when a jailbreak solution will be released. In conclusion, any new version of iOS that will be released, most likely next week, should be ignored by you, especially if you have an iPhone 4S or iPad 2 because you will not be able to jailbreak at all. If by mistake you update it through iTunes, then in the following hours after the release you can return to iOS 5.0.1 and you can still have an untethered jailbreak.
