Obvious Engine is an augmented reality system that can help you bring a little animation to the world around you. For now the system is available through an application from the App Store and with its help you can transform ordinary objects into real attractions both for you and for those around you. Obvious Engine is able to detect the shape of the objects around you and based on the information collected about them, displays the animations directly on your iPhone screen. The video clip above shows us how a simple can of Dr. Pepper can be transformed into an object that changes its shape and everything without any developer having built the animation specifically for this.
Obvious Engine offers the great advantage of not requiring developers to build glyphs to highlight the objects around which the animations must be displayed, and this could make it popular. For now, everything is still in the testing and bug-fixing phase, but augmented reality is not yet a thing of the past.
