An Australian government agency has decided that iOS is much more secure than Android OS

Many of the governments of important countries around the world decide to change the old mobile terminals of employees with new ones and BlackBerry no longer seems to be good enough for civil servants. Although it is not known whether the Australian government will buy iPhones, the agency that deals with securing secret data gave the green light the use of Apple company terminals in government agencies. A test was done for iOS and Android OS and the Apple operating system proved to be much better secured than its competitor, and in the image above you can see the results of the tests.

Embracing new technologies, such as smartphones and tablet PCs, provides government with a genuine opportunity to conduct its business more efficiently. However, the threat of government information being stolen or compromised is also very real.

Although it is not specified exactly what kind of tests were done for these devices, civil servants will be able to use the terminals to archive and distribute secret data and we are talking about a new victory of iOS over Android OS. Those in Australia will probably give up Blackberry soon because RIM is unfortunately going through an extremely difficult period and government agencies are generally very careful about the terminals used by its employees.
