Flashback Checker tells you if you are infected with the Flashback Trojan

This week the Flashback trojan was on the attention of all Mac owners because more than 600.000 computers produced by Apple would have been infected by this Trojan. Unfortunately, Flashback is a Trojan that can infect Macs without the users intervening in the process in any way, so we are talking about a threat that affects many users around the world. Fortunately Apple has launched two updates for Java and with their help he closed the vulnerability that allowed Macs to be infected, but those who are already infected cannot delete the Trojan through those updates.

For these people there is now Flashback Checker, an application for OS X that checks the Mac for the existence of the Trojan, but unfortunately it does not delete it if it is discovered, so it has limited functionality. Practically download FlashBack Checker from here, open the application, press the Check for Flashback Infection button and if you are infected, the program will display a warning message in the console. If you are not infected, you will see the messages in the image above and you can breathe a sigh of relief that your Mac cannot be accessed by hackers. If you are still infected then you must follow these steps to disinfect your Macs.
