Apple ranks 17th in the Fortune 500 list

Every year, Fortune magazine makes a list of the largest companies in the USA, and in this year's list, the Apple company occupies the 17th place. Those from Fortune lists companies according to annual revenues and Exxon Mobil ranks first, which collected no less than 452 billion dollars and had a profit of only 10%, i.e. 41 billion dollars. Apple, on the other hand, collected 108 billion dollars and had a profit of just over 25 billion dollars, so it is much more efficient than those from Exxon.

Last year, those from Apple ranked 35th, so they "jumped" 18 places in this top and will probably have a better position next year. Although Apple collected a lot of money, the company did not succeed in surpassing those from HP except in terms of profit, but in the end that matters the most. Microsoft and Google are not in the top 20 Fortune 500, so HP and Apple are in the top US IT companies.
