Apple acquires the iPhone5.com domain

A few weeks ago I told you that Apple filed an application through which she claimed that she should receive the iPhone5.com domain from its current owner, which in the end it happened. Yesterday, WIPO granted Apple the right to the iPhone 5.com domain, and now the website that was hosted there has disappeared. The Apple company will most likely redirect the traffic from there to its current website, as it did with the rest of the domains it took by similar methods.

Even if Apple has obtained the right to the domain iPhone5.com, this does not mean that the future terminal will be called that, but it is not excluded either. Apple has the habit of taking domains related to its products and redirecting them to its own website, but not all products launched so far have a special domain.
