Apple will integrate Facebook into iOS according to Tim Cook

During the All Things Digital conference, D10, last night Tim Cook talked about the S in the name of the iPhone 4S terminal, but also about Apple's collaboration with the Facebook social network. Cook says that in the future we will have Facebook integrated into iOS, probably in a similar way to how the Twitter social network was integrated in iOS 5. When asked why Twitter is present in iOS and Facebook is not, Tim Cook said let's wait a little and considering that WWDC 2012 will start in just 2 weeks, there are good chances that iOS 6 will bring this integration.

They have their own way of doing things. But people can say that about us as well. But just because you have different views doesn't mean you can't work together. We want to provide customers simple, elegant ways to do the things they want to do. And Facebook has hundreds of millions of customers. And anyone with an iPhone or iPad wants to have the best experience with Facebook on any device. So stay tuned.

Making a connection with Facebook, Tim Cook also stated that Apple was not interested in acquiring the Instagram application and software, his statements contradicting the rumors that appeared immediately after the announcement made by those from Facebook.
