Apple could be in the process of developing a new iSight camera

iShight is the name given by Apple to the front cameras implemented in Macs, and the same trademark was used for the iPad 3 tablet camera. Apple has a very strong trademark in its hands that describes a camera that has above average functions and should take pictures very good. Using this trademark, Apple would be in the process of developing a point-and-shoot camera, and those from iLounge would have received this information from sources inside the Apple company.

Take special note of pages 152 and 153—“Making the case for a standalone iSight Camera.” I'll share more on this topic shortly, but for now, I'll say that this two-page spread very nearly had a different title. We were tipped that this project is actually happening at Apple right now, but we didn't feel confident enough in our source to call it a certainty; it's therefore billed as speculation. Still, there's enough smoke to make us think there's a fire.

In the authorized biography of Steve Jobs, photography is one of the 3 fields that the former CEO of the Apple company intended to revolutionize, and there is a good chance that he had a project started for the development of the iSight camera. Unfortunately, the information held by the people at iLounge is not reliable enough to publish an article, but if Apple develops such a product then we will definitely hear new news about it in the coming months.
