The Google Nexus 7 was disassembled by iFixtIt who analyzed the internal components and decided that the Google tablet is quite easy to repair than the iPad 3. They claim that the tablet can be disassembled with almost any kind of tools and as compared to iPad 3 there are very big differences. If on the iPad most of the components are glued to the logic board/case, on the Google Nexus 7 only the LCD screen is glued to the Gorilla Glass panel, and replacing the internal components is relatively simple. Of course, very few people will ever change anything in such a tablet, but it is interesting to see how Google built the tablet.
