4 years ago the Apple company launched The App Store, a virtual application store that currently has over 600.000 titles available for users. Although Steve Jobs was firmly against the development of applications of this kind for iDevices and did not want to launch an App Store, it seems that he was finally convinced to develop it and this was one of the best decisions of his life. Thanks to the App Store, many users chose Apple's iDevices over other mobile terminals and this is still the case today.

For 4 years, the App Store remained the largest virtual application store, generated the most downloads and, of course, the most money. Apple has paid more than 4 billion dollars to iOS application developers, who wisely choose the App Store over any other store. In the end, the App Store proved to be an extraordinary success, hundreds of millions of iDevice owners use it daily and the number is constantly increasing as Apple sells more and more mobile terminals.

I hope that in 4 years the App Store will be bigger, more beautiful, but most importantly, have better systems for discovering new applications.
