During the iPhone 5 and iOS 6 presentation conference, Tim Cook did not announce anything about the GM version of the new operating system, but it has now been published in the portal dedicated to developers on the Apple website. This version of iOS 6 is of course the final one that the rest of the users will be able to install in at least a week in their own devices. The GM version can be installed after downloading from the developer portal on the Apple website and can be jailbroken with a new version of redsn0w.
If you have iOS 6 beta 4 installed, you may have the option to update to the GM version, although this is not mandatory.
