On October 10, Apple should have sent invitations to journalists from all over the world, invitations by which they would have announced that iPad Mini it will be presented during a conference that could take place on October 17 or 19. This did not happen, and those from AllThingsDigital say now that Apple will present the tablet on October 23 at a conference. It is not known where this conference will take place or when the invitations will be sent, but it is speculated that everything would be presented in the auditorium on the Apple campus, where OS X Lion, a new MacBook Air or iPhone 4S will also be presented.
Those at AllThingsDigital have close ties with the people inside Apple, if there is any publication that would know what the company is preparing, then AllThingsDigital would be that one and everything they say today has a very high chance of happening. In general, their information comes directly from Apple's PR team, or from management members, I don't know if it's the same thing now, but on October 23rd we will see the iPad Mini for the first time.
