Although Apple has been pushed to the wall in Europe due to the implementation of proprietary standards for connecting iDevices to computers or for violating them, only in China does the company offer something free to users. There the terminals iPhone 5 sold to users have included an adapter for free lightning to micro USB for free, allowing customers to charge their terminals and synchronize them using both the cable lightning included in the package, as well as any type of micro USB cable.
It would be good if Apple is pressured to offer free adapters in the rest of the countries where it sells the terminals iPhone 5, but this is unlikely to happen, considering the low price of the accessory. Even so, Apple's strategy is not correct, and you probably expect it to be so.
