Apple is losing ground to the manufacturers of Android terminals in the main European markets

Those from comScore they published recently some statistics on the level of smartphone adoption in the 5 main European markets and over 55% of users use smart terminals in them. Great Britain, Italy, France, Germany and Spain are the 5 important markets, Spain has the most smartphone owners, 63.2%, followed by Great Britain with 62.3%. In Great Britain, Apple is the leader in the market of smartphone manufacturers, but it is closely followed by Samsung, which managed to double its market share in just one year.

Regarding the market shares of the operating systems, the situation is different because Android has no rival at the moment. It was logical to be so, considering that there are a multitude of manufacturers of Android terminals, Apple only produces iDevices, and Blackberry OS and Windows Phone matter too little. By and large, Apple remains at the top of the smartphone manufacturers, it has a good market share, but the chances of it surpassing Android alone are slim.
