Today marks 6 years since the moment when Steve Jobs took the stage at an Apple conference to present to the whole world the device that would change the mobile phone industry forever. Then iPhone- was a product viewed with great curiosity and fear by some, with much disdain by others, but for Apple it would be the product that the company had been waiting for for several decades. In just 5 years, almost 300 million iPhones were sold, Apple earned over 100 billion dollars on its account and became the most popular IT company in the world.
The iPhone is the best-selling smartphone on the market, it has held this title for the last 2 years, and there doesn't seem to be any other devices that can overtake it in popularity. The iPhone has been hated, loved, wanted and copied, it will undoubtedly be in the center of attention for many years to come, but unfortunately the man who helped create it is no longer with us. Although the first iPhone was presented on January 9 by Apple, it went on sale only in the middle of 2007.
In conclusion, I leave you in the company of Steve Jobs and the presentation that changed an entire world.
