The flexible screen iWatch is featured in an Apple patent

In August 2011, Apple sent the formula a request for the patenting of a video device with a flexible screen that can be "worn" by users, and today the US patent and trademark office published this application. It is practically described in it iWatch, SmartWatch- the flexible screen that Apple would develop at the moment. Apple claims that the device can be worn most easily on the wrist, and it would have a bidirectional connection with another electronic terminal, most likely an iDevice, being able to "feel" when it is attached to the wrist and being able to transmit information to another terminal, or to receive and display others.

With a touch screen user input a user can accomplish a number of different tasks including adjusting the order of a current playlist, and reviewing a list of recent phone calls. A response to a current text message can even be managed given a simple virtual keyboard configuration across the face of the flexible display.

The device would connect via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth to another mobile terminal and would be able to display information about missed/incoming calls, unread messages/emails/notifications, calendar entries, etc., but it would able to interact with them in a limited way. Apple even thought of a new system for holding this device with a flexible screen, it being thought of as a bracelet that wraps around the wrist, the flexible screen allowing a much easier display of information to users.

Practically everything we already knew about Apple's product is described in this request, and there is a possibility that the rumors that have appeared so far are based on the information in the request.
