iOS 7 – Apple is testing a system that allows us to use Siri Dictation without an Internet connection

Apart from the lack of support for many languages around the world, one of the main problems of Crab and the Siri Dictation is the impossibility of using the systems without an internet connection. Well, those from Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), working on solving the problem, and the image above shows the possible interface of a Siri Dictation which will work offline. In beta versions of iOS 7 there are lines of code that confirm the existence of the system, it being active only for Apple employees who are testing it for a possible launch in the fall.

The offline version of Siri Dictation can sometimes rely on an Internet connection to understand what users are saying, but we will probably have a setting available that allows us to completely disable its access to the Internet. Apple has implemented a similar functionality in OS X Mavericks, but there it is necessary to download files of almost 1 GB to use the system, so the same thing could happen in the version for iDevices. Apple's competing mobile operating systems already have similar functions included, so it is not hard to believe that Apple is forcing the release of a similar one.
