Sony prepares to launch DSC-QX10 and DSC-QX100 – the first camera lenses controlled only with smartphones

DSC-QX10 si DSC-QX100 is the name that those from Sony they chose it for two new, extremely interesting products, which are going to reach the market in the near future. If you look at the image above, you will notice that I am talking about a series of lenses that can be connected to smartphones and can be controlled only through smartphones. The lenses will have an integrated processor, they will have WiFi/NFC connectivity, but users will not be able to record pictures with them unless they magnetically attach a smartphone and connect it via NFC/WiFi, a special application helping them record the pictures.

What you see on these images are the DSC-QX10 and DSC-QX100 lenses. Actually these are not normal lenses! They have built-in sensor, Bionz processor, Wifi/NFC wireless connection and SD card slot. These lenses have no LCD screen and no usual camera controls. You will be able to control them through your smart phone or tablet (via WiFi or NFC). The lenses can be magnetically attached to your smartphone and it works on both Android and iOS devices.

Both objectives are practically taken from cameras that already exist on the market and cost between $450 and $600 on the Amazon website, but for now it is not known at what price they will be sold. The product launched by Sony is a really interesting one, it could be the first of its kind launched on the market, and with its help users will be able to record very good quality pictures without paying huge sums for a DSLR and without being have to use the camera integrated in their own terminals.
