The iPhone 5S could be compatible with LTE-A networks

In July of this year, the first rumors appeared that indicated that iPhone 5S could be compatible with the standard LTE-A, and today those from Deutsche Telekom seem to offer a new indication in this sense. The new Samsung Galaxy Note III is compatible with this standard, the operator officially announcing its launch and the fact that the terminal Samsung will be able to work on it. In the press release of the operator, it is also specified that other smartphones of other operators will be launched towards the end of September and will be compatible with the network LTE-A.

Samsung will offer an updated version of the Galaxy S4 with LTE +. Appropriate devices from other manufacturers will follow the end of September.

Considering the time period specified by the operator and the secrecy regarding the names of the devices, there are chances that Apple will be that operator. LTE-A, or LTE+, offers users the opportunity to surf the Internet at speeds of up to 150 Mbps, and Apple has every reason to support this standard. Even if few countries will have compatible networks, for Apple it would be a big plus to offer support for it, especially since 4G LTE networks are becoming more and more widespread throughout the world.
