MySmartEye is an application available for a short time in the Apple App Store, it being part of from an extensive project that has the role of helping the blind to discover the world around them. An association for the blind in Singapore developed the application and the system behind it, the idea itself being extremely interesting. In practice, users use the application to record pictures of the environment, those pictures end up in the association's servers, and a group of volunteers identifies the elements in the pictures and sends users information about them.

The whole system works based on the help provided by the volunteers to identify the elements in the pictures and having an integrated text-to-speech system, the application can recite everything the volunteers write. For now, the number of volunteers is small and there is not much information offered to the blind, but in the future the association from Singapore intends to involve as many people as possible in the project in order to succeed in offering a useful system for the blind.
