iDevices recorded sales increases of up to 50% on the occasion of Black Friday

Last week I told you that the tablets iPad Air si iPad Mini they had very good sales at major US retailers, and now we're finding out how good those sales were. According to a company which analyzes data received from over 1 billion mobile terminals, the number of tablet activations iPad Air increased by 51% compared to the previous Black Friday weekend, tablets iPad Mini si iPhone 5C registering an increase of 26%. iPad Mini with Retina Display had an increase of 17%, iPhone 5S of 15%, and the iPhone 4S of only 10%.

According to Localytics' data, a whopping 51% more new iPad Air devices were seen than the previous week. This is due to a combination of factors, including Apple's promotion of giving gift cards with purchases of the iPad Air and iPad Mini (but not iPad Mini 2nd gen) devices. This, combined with a smaller base of iPad Air devices and the novelty of the iPad Air (released on November 1st) resulted in the iPad Air dominating on Black Friday weekend. Apple's older iPad Mini model finished second, and the iPhone 5c took third.

Among Apple's iDevices we find the Kindle Fire HD and Samsung Galaxy S4, the list being completed by the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, these being the only devices for which increases were recorded during this period. Basically, iDevices dominated sales during Black Friday and generated substantial income for Apple, but that's because in many stores there were quite good discounts for these products, and they were attractive to customers.
