Apple records high product sales in November, prepares for record sales in Q4 2013

In the last 2 years the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), focused its important product launches for the end of the year in order to benefit from the willingness of customers to spend more money during the winter holidays. This strategy allowed those from Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), to register record sales in the last 3 months of 2011 and 2012, and for 2013 we can expect to the same thing. If in recent years there have been 13% increases in sales for each Q4, in 2013 it is expected that there will be a 28% increase in sales/receipts compared to Q4 2012. This information is based on data provided by to the Asian partners of those from Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, they proving to be, in general, quite accurate.

With approximately 97% of the sales now accounted for in our Apple Barometer, we estimate sales in November rose by approximately 19-20% M/M and well above the November average of up 6% over the past eight years. As such, we believe this November will prove to be the strongest in the history of our Apple Barometer. Given the combination of a record October performance and our expectation of record growth in November, our Apple Barometer is on track to report stronger-than-average seasonality in 4Q:13. If we assume an average MoM sales decline of 10% in December, we estimate our Apple Barometer will grow sales by 28% QoQ in 4Q:13, or more than double the average increase of 13% over the past eight years.

If last year Apple sold more than 40 million iPhones in Q4 2013, for this year analysts expect more than 50 million iPhones to be sold between October 01, 2013 and January 01, 2014, which could be a new record for the American company. Of course, we will have to wait more than a month and a half to find out exactly how much Apple sold during this end of the year and the only thing that can prevent them from setting new records is the unavailability of products due to too high demand.
