iDevices are among the most popular mobile terminals in the world, they are certainly the most desired by most users, but what is their situation in Romania, a country not really that rich, at least on the surface. Well, with the help of StatCounter we found out that 21.9% of the total mobile traffic generated in Romania would belong to the products manufactured by the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, 27.11% would belong to the terminals Samsung, 21.01% of terminals Nokia, RIM being the next important producer, having a share of only 3.91%.
Between Nokia si RIM we find one or more unidentified producers that represent 12.87% of the total mobile internet traffic generated in Romania, the figure being important and increasing compared to the same period last year. Still coming back to Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, notice that the traffic generated by its terminals decreased by approximately 10% over the course of several months, the traffic generated by Samsung terminals increased by 3%, while the traffic generated by Nokia terminals decreased constantly.
In practice, in Romania Apple is "at war" with Nokia regarding the use of mobile terminals for Internet browsing, but the launch iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, iPad Air si iPad Mini with Retina Display it seems to have generated serious growth for Apple, so it remains to be seen how the situation will be in the following months.
