Americans trust Microsoft more than Apple

Although Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), is one of the most popular companies on the globe, when it comes to trust, Americans seem to offer more to those from Microsoftand an recent study made by a company called Forrester reveals the fact that Americans have more trust in Microsoft than in Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),. The study is focused on 4 characteristics of the companies, more precisely the ones to be: reliable, remarkable, error-free and essential, those from Microsoft winning by far on the basis of the last criterion that helped it to conquer generations and generations of customers.

In a surprise upset, Microsoft trumped Apple and Samsung in the TRUE brand rankings. In fact, Microsoft was the only brand in the survey to achieve the coveted trailblazer status — indicating that the Microsoft brand is "at the forefront of brand building with a unique and distinct brand identity that sets it apart from other brands." All three brands were seen as innovative by consumers, so what sets Microsoft apart? While Apple and Samsung battle it out to reign supreme with the coveted Millennial generation, Microsoft has quietly stolen the consumer technology crown by becoming more trusted and essential across multiple generations. The very ubiquity that perhaps renders it uncool turns out to also be its strength.

In the case of the Apple company, we are talking about its distinction as being remarkable and unmistakable, but Microsoft's products are the ones that users cannot live without and the ones that they can "approach" the easiest. Practically by positioning itself as a company with premium products, Apple managed to keep away a large segment of users, and in studies of this kind it will probably never come out on top, quantity being here more important than quality.
