Apple, Google, LinkedIn si Zynga are some of the companies from Silicon Valley who contribute to the support of a named organization SF Gives, she helping the poor people of Silicon Valley. Company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), to donatet $500.000 to the organization SF Gives, each company donating exactly the same amount of money, the total amount collected by them being 10 million dollars. The amount raised by the organization will be used to finance various social programs in the area, helping poor people in Silicon Valley.
The donation made by Apple is not the first of its kind, Apple donating tens of millions of dollars to the RED organization of the famous U2 star, Bono.
