OS X Yosemite Continuity will also work on old Macs

This week I presented you with a graph showing the compatibility list for the function Continuity a OS X Yosemite, many old Macs, but still functional, not being compatible with it due to the lack Bluetooth 4.0/LE. Although the compatibility list is short, the reality is that for now the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), still working on implementing compatibility with old Macs, so things are not finalized.

Although initially it was thought that only Macs have it Bluetooth LE will be compatible with the function Continuity, things could be different, especially if you have an adapter Bluetooth LE, which is now not officially supported. Given that OS X Yosemite it is still in beta version, we should not consider its functions and support as final, many things may change until its official release.

The Continuity function allows Macs to recognize the tasks we do on iDevices and gives us the option to finish them on Macs, the support for accepting/making phone calls being part of it. OS X Yosemite is to be released in the fall of this year.
