During this evening both Facebook, as well as Instagram were, and remain, inaccessible for some users, without any official reason being given for the period of unavailability. Despite these problems, the company Facebook updated the app for iOS during this day, announcing in his changelog that he will release updates for it every 4 weeks.

Every update of our Facebook app includes improvements for speed and reliability. As other new features become available, we'll highlight those for you in the app.
The update released today most likely solves various operational problems and improves the general performance of the application, so we can expect the same thing in the next period. Having said that, it is advisable to update today and continue to update the application as new, improved versions of it become available.
