Part of this loss is due to the fact that Microsoft tried to develop a tablet Surface Mini, but he made the decision not to launch it on the market, so in the end his entire line of tablets generated a new loss for the company, the biggest so far.
No one knows why Microsoft insists on losing money with this product, but it is unlikely that the project will be stopped in the near future, Microsoft being left without a competitor on the tablet market.
