Dell is preparing to launch the world's thinnest tablet

iPad Air 2 was launched by the Apple company and promoted as the thinnest tablet in the world, having a thickness of only 6.1mm, and you probably imagined that it will not be dethroned by any other product anytime soon. Well, things are a little different, because the Dell Venue 8 7000 is a tablet that will appear in the next month or so on the market, and it is only 6mm thick, 0.1mm less than the iPad Air 2.

Even if the difference of 0.1 mm will never be noticed by any person in daily use, strictly comparing the specifications, the new product from Dell will occupy the first place in the list of the thinnest tablets in the world. The Dell Venue 8 7000 has an Intel Atom Z3500 processor, an 8.4-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels, 2 GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel main camera and will be sold in the US for the same price as the iPad Air 2.
