Samsung records a colossal decrease in profit in Q3 2014

samsung logo  Samsung sells 2 times more smartphones than the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), almost every fiscal quarter, but when it comes to profit things are completely different, Samsung's mobile division generating about a third of Apple's profit. In Q3 2014, the profit of Samsung's mobile division fell by 73.9% compared to the same period last year, 3.8 billion dollars being recorded by the Koreans as operational profit for this fiscal quarter of the year.

  Samsung's total revenue decreased by 20% compared to the same period last year, while the receipts generated by the mobile division decreased by 34% compared to the same period. Samsung claims that the majority of mobile phones sold worldwide are low and mid-end, the profit generated by them being much lower than in the case of high-end terminals, and from here we have the explanation of the colossal decrease in the profit of the company that competes with Apple in the segment of mobile terminals.

  Announcing the financial results for Q3 2014, the Samsung company confirmed that the receipts fell sharply for all its divisions, a sign that the future will not be so great for them.
