The most expensive product ever sold online in Romania was part of the campaign Black Friday of the largest retailer in Romania, eMAG, and probably some of you already imagine who it was. As you already know very well, the people from eMAG sold cars again as part of the Black Friday campaign for this year, and the most expensive product ever sold online in our country is a BMW X6. The car was available in eMAG's offer at the price of 66.500 euros, with a 20.000 euro discount compared to the normal list price of BMW.
The most expensive product sold online
eMAG had in its list of products for Black Friday a multitude of cheap and luxury cars and of all, this car model produced by BMW was lucky enough to be nominated as the most expensive product sold online in Romania. Of course, eMAG did not ask a customer to pay the price directly with the frame through its own website, but imposed a reservation fee of 1000 euros that had to be paid online and based on which the lucky customer could visit a BMW representative to complete the documents necessary for the purchase of the car.
eMAG was not the only online store that had cars listed in the offer for Black Friday, but it seems that none of the others managed to convince any customer to buy such an expensive car. The rest of the online stores charged prices of at least 1000 LEI for the reservation of the car, but the discount applied to the base price was lower, at a maximum of 25%, so 5% below what eMAG had. In total, those from eMAG sold 44 cars on Black Friday, their total value being 1.1 million euros.
