iPhone 6 si 6 iPhone Plus are the newest Apple smartphones, they were launched on September 21 in the USA and other countries around the world, the official launch in Romania taking place on October 31.
What to choose between iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus? This is a question I've heard constantly over the past few months from people who were interested in buying one of Apple's new smartphones. The answer to the question is not quite as simple as you might imagine, the choice of one or the other of them being a subjective decision based mainly on your needs in everyday life.
What to choose between iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus?
To answer the question, I must first tell you what are the main differences between the two terminals, they are the ones on the basis of which you will choose one or the other of the devices.
- 4.7 inch screen for iPhone 6 vs 5.5 inch screen for iPhone 6 Plus;
- resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and 401 ppi for iPhone 6 Plus compared to 1334 x 750 pixels and 326 ppi for iPhone 6;
- 0.2mm thickness against the iPhone 6 Plus;
- optical image stabilizer in iPhone 6 Plus compared to digital image stabilizer in iPhone 6;
- 2915 mAh battery in iPhone 6 Plus compared to a 1810 mAh battery in iPhone 6 ;
- landscape view to use the iOS 8 interface in landscape mode on the iPhone 6 Plus.
Practically, the very big difference in the dimensions of the two devices and the autonomy of the battery are, from my point of view, the main points that differentiate the terminals and based on them you should make the decision. The iPhone 6 Plus offers up to 4-5 hours of autonomy in use in addition to the iPhone 6, but the much larger dimensions make it somewhat harder to use by people with small hands.
For all of you who are undecided at the moment, I make the following recommendation: if you like a smartphone with a medium screen that can be used with one hand, then the iPhone 6 is the perfect choice; if you like a smartphone that has a very good autonomy and displays the content as clearly and as large as possible on the screen, then the iPhone 6 Plus is without question the choice you have to make. Although some have said that the terminal amts bend, the reality is that the chances of encountering this problem are small, but the iPhone 6 Plus is more fragile in terms of the possible bending of the case.
iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus have the same type of processor and the same RAM memory, so you won't see any differences in terms of performance, but the optical image stabilizer doesn't add any surprising quality to the large-screen terminal either. Regardless of how you look at the situation now or what you will read here, my advice is to test both terminals in a store to see which fits best in your hand and not to make a choice based only on the experiences of others.
