iOS 9 achieves an impressive adoption rate

iOS 9 was launched last evening by the Apple company and in the first 24 hours it recorded an adoption rate of 12% among iDevice owners around the world.

The figure is 4% lower than the one recorded last year in the case of iOS 8, and some attribute the decrease to the problems that users encountered in the initial attempts to download this version of the operating system.

iOS 9 has received 12% adoption in the last 24 hours and is being adopted similar to iOS 8 last year. However, one issue for it being substantially slow compared to iOS 7 is that servers are having trouble keeping up right now as people update.

Apart from the problems that appeared at the time of the iOS 9 launch, the fact that the user base of iDevices has grown in the last year must also be taken into account, so a difference of this kind is perfectly normal under these conditions.
