Slide to Upgrade bug fix

Slide to Upgrade bug fixSlide to Upgrade error appeared on the terminals of some of the users who tried to update to iOS 9 on iPhones, iPads and iPod Touches, and the Apple company seems to have received a very large number of complaints.

This large number of complaints has turned into a dedicated page on its website that describes the solution to the Slide to Upgrade error that appeared on the terminal screens during the attempt to update to iOS 9 using the standard Software Update procedure.

According to Apple, solving the Slide to Upgrade error is the following:

  1. Connect your iDevice to iTunes.
  2. Select it from the scary side, and if it does not appear, restart it by simultaneously pressing the Home and Lock buttons until the apple appears on the screen.
  3. After the terminal appears, select it and make a restore from a previous backup for it, but if you don't have one already made, then make one now and then make a restore from it.

Theoretically, these steps should solve the Slide to Upgrade error, which normally should not have appeared, but because we are talking about the Apple company and an update for iOS, anything becomes possible.
