Red Star OS – North Korea's operating system

Red Star OSRed Star OS is the name of the official operating system that North Korea has installed in the computers that its own citizens use in public institutions throughout the country.

As you will already see from the images below, Red Star OS is an almost faithful copy of the old versions of OS X, the interface of the operating system not being modified that much by those from North Korea, although the functionality is much different.

More precisely, those in North Korea have implemented various systems to monitor how computers running Red Star OS are used, the citizens of the country having virtually no privacy when using these computers with or without the Internet.

Although various images and video clips of Red Star OS have appeared on the Internet until now, this is the first time we see the entire process of installing the operating system and part of what it offers after installation in computers, various versions of which are also available for download from the Internet.
