An Apple Store was evacuated following a bomb threat

An Apple Store in Sydney, Australia, was evacuated this day by the local police following a bomb threat. The call was taken very seriously by the authorities, so they arrived very quickly at the store from Cupertino and evacuated the people inside to be able to check the location in order to discover the possible bomb.

Some of the evacuated people stayed around the store and watched the force unfold, the police needing a little time to check the entire store. In the end, everything turned out to be a hoax, to everyone's joy, but this is the third time in the last three months that an Apple Store has been evacuated following such a threat.

"Police began clearing the three-storey glass-encased retail store on the corner of King and George streets just before 1pm and traffic was diverted around the area. Ashley, one of those evacuated, tweeted that he "heard store employees talking about a bomb threat, not a drill" and police were "very firm in telling people to leave immediately."
