WhatsApp will withdraw messages sent from iPhone

WhatsApp will soon implement a new function for iPhone users, allowing the withdrawal of messages already sent to other people. Let's say you used WhatsApp to send an inappropriate message to someone, or that you don't want that person to see a message that is no longer relevant, but now the application won't allow you to cancel the action.

This will change soon, because WhatsApp wants to implement a new function that will allow you to withdraw messages already sent in conversations. In the image below you can see what a message withdrawn by the user through the WhatsApp application looks like, the unsent indicator being displayed for messages that have been withdrawn by the person who sent them.

The function itself is an innovative one for a messaging platform, because it could avoid sending unwanted messages to various people who use WhatsApp. It is not yet known in what form the function will be available in WhatsApp, but probably a dedicated button will be available in the interface displayed after selecting the messages already sent by us.

According to those who tested the new WhatsApp function, it will only work for 5 minutes after sending a message, so you won't have much time to withdraw it. At the moment, the new WhatsApp function is being tested for both iPhone and Android users, but for now it is not known when it could be officially launched.
