To begin with, we are talking about a new function for groups that is being prepared for launch by those from WhatsApp, the American company going to expand the functionality that is offered for group administrators.
WhatsApp is going to allow group administrators to prohibit the publication of messages in the main group chat for all people who do not have administrator privileges in that group. Basically, WhatsApp implements a moderation function for groups, so administrators will have a much stricter control over what is published for the rest of the people who are part of that group, the change being already implemented in the beta versions of the application.
"Talking about the Announcement feature, that allows the administrator to restrict all messaging features for non-admins in the group. It means only the administrator will be able to send messages in the group."
WhatsApp: SECRET function and a New Application
WhatsApp also launched the beta version and the business version of the application, that is, the version that companies will be able to use to get in touch with any of the customers who have problems or want to know information about offers. WhatsApp already offers a version of this application for Android users, and many people were wondering when it will be available for iPhone, and now we find out that it is not far from being offered for companies.
WhatsApp created the application for companies with the idea that at a certain point it could also generate income from the companies' interest in contacting customers on this platform as well, and in the future to display advertisements.
