A 64-year-old woman from Romania was killed by two swindlers who tried to use the "accident method" to get 20.000 LEI from her. The woman lived in Deleni commune in Vaslui county, and on Tuesday evening she received a call from an unknown number informing her that her grandson was involved in an accident.
This accident was so serious that the grandson had serious injuries to his head and legs, and he needed an operation to survive. After talking with the first person, the woman was called by a second person who introduced himself as a doctor, and asked him for 20.000 LEI to operate on the woman's grandson.

After the discussion with the second man, the woman suffered a heart attack, and although her husband called the 112 emergency service, the woman could not be saved and died. The woman intended to go to the bank yesterday to take out a loan for the 20.000 LEI needed for her grandson's operation, but unfortunately she was killed by the actions of the swindlers.
Because they didn't know what was waiting for them, the men called another woman from Deleni commune that same evening with exactly the same story, only that this time the "accident method" didn't work anymore. Details about the police investigation are not known, but it is more than certain that there is an investigation and the crooks will be caught and tried for the actions that led to the woman's murder.
